Join us for live music, food, and family-friendly fun — local businesses, organizations, and wineries, sign up to participate!

ORO VALLEY, Ariz.  Mark your calendars! Celebrate Oro Valley, the Town’s free, annual community celebration, returns on Saturday, April 12, from 2–5 p.m.

This year, the event will take place at James D. Kriegh Park (23 W. Calle Concordia), providing an exciting setting for an afternoon of food, fun, entertainment, and community spirit.

"Celebrate Oro Valley is a great way to bring the community together while showcasing local businesses and organizations,” said Town of Oro Valley Parks and Recreation Director Roz Epting. "We’re especially excited about hosting this annual event at James D. Kriegh Park, which gives us the space to expand activities and create a more engaging experience for everyone.”

Entertainment & Activities

Attendees can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, including:

  • Live music, featuring:
    • 2–3 p.m. – Little House of Funk
    • 3:30–5 p.m. – Mark Miller Band
  • Inflatables, arts and crafts, and games for kids and families
  • Free teen dodgeball tournament (ages 14-19) [Register here]
  • Food trucks offering a variety of delicious entrées and desserts (for purchase)
  • Beer and wine sales with local wineries in attendance (for purchase)
  • Community booths hosted by local businesses and organizations

A satirical reflection by Author/Artist Phil Fehrenbacher

Phil enlisted in the Army in 1965 where you served for years in Vietnam.  He became a graphic designer and has worked for the state of Oregon for 26 years.  He retired in 2003 and started the Cartoon "In-Country".  The cartoons reflect his experiences during his tour of duty in South Vietnam.


There is a new cartoon everyday.
