Hello Comrades,
Well, the fall season is in full spring. It's starting to get a bit cooler. Since we are in this new quarter, we need to really focus on membership and recruiting. We should have a membership form on us at all times.
We will be hosting a Benefit Dinner and Raffle on Oct 20 at 5:30 pm at the Elks Lodge. Please come and support us. We will also have a 50/50 raffle with the proceeds going to help VFW Post 10254 at Three Points as they will need much support from our district and others.
Our next meeting in October will focus on upcoming events in November. Rockn4Heros, Veterans Day programs at schools and the Elks lodge that we meet at. We will also be judging our Patriot Pen and Voice of Democracy entries. If you want to help judge, please contact me.
We just finished with our POW/MIA event, and it was awesome. I wish more of you could come and see.
I am looking for about 3 people who can help me with our Liberation of Kuwait Ceremony that will be held at the end of February. This is the 35th year of Desert Shield/Storm.
